Shipping Policy

US Customers

5106 CBP Importer ID Form

NOTE 1: We ship international orders through DHL Express and FedEx for their speed, customer service, and their knowledge of international trade and customs.

NOTE 2: If your organization will not accept shipping from our account, we will require a valid international import FedEx or DHL account number. We won't accept shipping with other carriers. Note that Kron Technologies will require to change the shipping terms for EXW Burnaby and cannot take responsibility for delays in shipping due to incorrect information, customs brokering, or poor turn around from the courier.  We do not ship UPS due to their account requirements and poor service. Shipment preparation time
Orders generally take 2-3 business days to be prepared for shipment, should we have proper stock level. Items are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders or shortage of parts, shipments may be delayed by a few days and you will get notified accordingly. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone. Please ensure you have provided the information and forms requested in order for us to expedite your shipment.

Rates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout or as a line item in a quotation or invoice. Rates vary by country and shipment size. Kron Technologies does not have a flat rate shipping policy, you will need to email info@krontech.ca for an estimate.

Shipping Information
All shipments require a valid phone number to be included with shipping information. In the event that the courier needs to contact you on delivery, for customs clearance, or if your package is lost or damaged.

Full name of the receiver is required for all shipments from Kron Technologies.

All shipments are required to be given in English characters. Most couriers do not accept characters from alphabets other than the English alphabet. Please make sure to clearly write out your shipping address. We will not ship your items should it contain a non English address.

Kron Technologies takes no responsibility for delayed shipments due to incorrect information provided by the buyer or missing shipping information. Any assistance from Kron Technologies' staff with the shipment due to those reasons will incur a 100 USD charge.

Additional Shipping Information
At the request of the customer, we can ship broker select. We also can note the VAT or Tax ID on the Commercial Customs Invoice. Please communicate any special handling request and information regarding shipping within 24hrs of ordering from Kron Technologies. To do so, email shipping@krontech.ca and note your store order number or invoice number.

If you are shipping under your own account, please contact shipping@krontech.ca within 24hrs of placing your order. Please note your store order number or your invoice number. Also note that your own courier account does not replace documents for customs. You will need a selected broker in-order to submit documentation automatically. If you do not have a broker, you will need to submit documents to Kron Technologies or to the courier even if you are using your own account for shipping.

Domestic Shipping Policy
Canadian shipments will be made via FedEx 2-day. You will receive an email from FedEx’s automated email system with a tracking number. Shipments within Canada generally take 1-2 business days.

USA Shipping Policy
US shipments are made via DHL Express. You will receive an email with the tracking number from DHL’s automated email system. Shipments to the United States generally take 1-4 business days and are by default delivered duties paid (DDP), unless asked otherwise by the buyer.

All items over $2500 USD for individuals require a 5106 CBP Importer ID forms to enter the US. You can submit them to shipping@krontech.ca for verification (without the Social Security Number). Note that we won't keep it in record as it contains sensitive information such as a Social Security Number. You may be contacted by the US customs directly to provide the 5106 form yourself.

For orders over $2500 USD to companies, our shipping team would need a valid Tax ID from your company or a complete 5106 import form.

If you do not wish to send the 5106 CBP Importer ID form to Kron Technologies, you will need to be in contact with DHL Express to send them the form directly to them or can use your own broker. You may also request we ship your order without a 5106 importer form ready on your side, however, Kron Technologies will not be liable for any issues, delays, or cost of return shipping or any other problem that may occur from not submitting this form. Note: Your own courier account does not replace documents for customs. You will need a selected broker in-order to submit documentation automatically. If you do not have a broker, you will need to submit documents to Kron Technologies or the courier even if you are using your own account for shipping.

International Shipping Policy (all other countries than Canada and the United States):
All international receivers will be responsible for taxes and duties due on import. Kron Technologies does not collect taxes and cannot quote taxes. This is the full responsibility of the receiver. Kron Technologies cannot alter export documents in the event that taxes are expected to be due on import. Shipping terms for shipments outside Canada and the US are by default delivered at place (DAP) unless asked otherwise by the buyer.

Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses
Kron Technologies does not ship any Chronos high speed cameras to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO address. We require the receiver to sign for the shipment and to verify that it has arrived in good condition. Failure to note the condition of the shipment within 7 days can affect warranty and returns (see RMA policies on the Support page).

Customs, Duties and Taxes
Kron Technologies is not responsible for any duties and taxes applied to your order if you are outside the US or Canada. All fees imposed during or after shipping (tariffs, taxes, duties, etc.) are the responsibility of the customer.

Shipping restrictions apply to the following countries:

We will sell and ship Chronos cameras worldwide, except the following countries for which fall under Canada's export control regulations for high-speed cameras:

■ Iran
■ North Korea
■ Ukraine
■ Turkey

■ Shipments to Russia must be to a company due to strict new import regulations, shipments cannot be made to individuals.

■ Fulfillments to South Korea are now handled by our designated distributor Hanbek Corporation. Their teams offer on-site technical support, rental units, have demonstration high speed cameras on hand, and will be taking Chronos camera orders on behalf of Kron Technologies. ■ Shipments to Brazil regarding business require a CNPJ number and residential shipments require a CPF number.

■ There are several countries that have strict import laws. Please check with your country’s import procedures if you are unsure about shipping the Chronos to your country.

When using our recommended shipping option. This is the quickest and easiest option. We also offer FCA shipping methods.

Details when using the incoterms ExWork (EXW):

Kron Technologies can accept to ship with a customer's FedEx or DHL account only. Please note Kron Technologies will not ship via UPS due to reliability issues in the past.

Multiple boxed shipments may carry extra fees. Typically $5 USD – 10$ USD
